Have you ever noticed maybe a little bit of biases behind certain cartoon characters? I'm not saying I'm upset, or that anyone should necessarily be offended or care. It's just something to note. Let's compare two favorite boys laborer characters. Handy Manny - the adorable, singing, friendly Hispanic repairman and Bob the Builder - the Middle Aged, bossy, caucasian construction tycoon. Handy Manny lives in a cute little town called Sheetrock Hills where he owns a small repair shop. Manny does fix-it jobs around the neighborhood using his tool box stocked with basic tools like a wrench, a tape measure, a saw, a screwdriver and a flashlight. Manny usually gets paid in cookies from Mrs. Portillo or candy from Mr. Lopart.
Bob the Builder owns waterfront property on Bobland Bay. He has an arsenal of construction equipment (and employees) at his disposal including a cement mixer, a bulldozer, a cherry picker and a tractor. Bob drives all over Bobville in his jacked up pick up truck with a four wheeler in the bed. Bob takes on jobs like building homes, designing new skate parks and demolition of old structures to make way for airports. Bob convinced his retired father, "Bob Sr." to come out of retirement and manage the masonry end of their family construction empire. Seriously? You can't make this stuff up. I'm just saying...

Wow. I can't believe that the entertainment companies would try to start brainwashing our kids at such a young age. I am BLOWN AWAY. (I pay all of my non- american born workers in cookies too.)
Don't forget about his hot blonde assistant Wendy.
This is brilliant!!
